00:04A realistic exterior 3D view of a city or facilitiy is only one of the many views...

00:09...that are interesting to city administrators and facilities managers.

00:13The ability to show what is going on inside buildings is very powerful.

00:18For example see usage per floor, where are the office floors...

00:22...what is being used as hotel space and so on.

00:28And we can go one step further and model the interiors of a building down to spaces...

00:33...hallways, walls and exits.

00:40And at this scale, we can query the interior spaces and components...

00:44...and also search for a particular office or asset within the building.

00:57And here we are in Redlands at the Esri campus...

01:01...and we've modeled the interior of our development building.

01:06We can identify the individual floors and also slide away the outer walls...

01:12...to get a better look at the interior layout...

01:18...and also look at each floor separately.

01:29All these views on a city or a facility at different scale levels...

01:33...are supported by the 3D Cities Information model...

01:37...which is the basis for our ArcGIS for 3D cities solution.

01:41For more information, please have a look on the ArcGIS Resource Center.
